Lex11Plus is run by Saranya Chinnaswamy Kesavamurthy, a sole trader in England (“we”, “us”). Contact us at hello@lex11plus.co.uk.

• A vocabulary game for children aged 7 to 11, played in a web browser.
• The first island, Laughing Bridge, is free and needs no account.
• The full unlock opens every other island, for a single payment.

Lex11Plus helps children learn words that often come up in 11+ tests, but we can’t promise any exam result or school place. Lex11Plus is independent and not affiliated with, or endorsed by, Cambridge University Press & Assessment (including Cambridge Insight, formerly CEM), GL Assessment, or any school or exam board.

Accounts are for adults (18 or over) only. Children play under their grown-up’s account and never need their own email or password. You’re responsible for keeping your sign-in details safe and for how Lex11Plus is used under your account. An account holds one child’s profile for now. You can delete your account and everything saved in it at any time from the grown-ups page.

• The price is £34.99, paid once. It isn’t a subscription and there’s nothing more to pay. The price shown is the total.
• Payment is taken securely by Stripe. We’ll email you a receipt.
• It opens every island for your child’s profile in your account, on every device you sign in on, including words we add later.
• It lasts for as long as we run Lex11Plus. If we ever had to close it, we’d give account holders at least three months’ notice by email.

When you buy digital content online you normally have 14 days to change your mind. Because the islands open as soon as you pay, we’ll ask you at checkout to agree that the content starts straight away and that you lose the 14-day right to cancel once it has started. We can only open the islands if you agree.

This doesn’t affect your legal rights. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, digital content must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. If it isn’t, tell us and we’ll fix it or, if we can’t, give you some or all of your money back.

Lex11Plus is for personal and family use. Please don’t copy, sell or share the words, examples, pictures or game, try to get into parts that aren’t yours, or use automated tools on it. We may suspend an account that’s being misused, and we’ll tell you why.

The words, definitions, funny examples, characters, pictures and code are ours (or used with permission). Buying the unlock gives you the right to use them in Lex11Plus; it doesn’t transfer ownership.

We keep improving Lex11Plus, so the game, islands and words may change, but we won’t take away what you’ve paid for. We try to keep it running all the time; sometimes it may be briefly unavailable for maintenance or reasons outside our control.

We’re responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We’re not responsible for loss that wasn’t foreseeable, or for business losses (Lex11Plus is for home use). Nothing in these terms limits our liability where the law doesn’t allow it, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

How we look after your and your child’s information is explained in our privacy policy.

We may update these terms, for example when the law changes. We’ll show the new date at the top and email account holders about important changes. The terms in place when you paid still apply to that payment.

If you’re unhappy, email hello@lex11plus.co.uk and we’ll try to put it right quickly. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.
